Dear Bayard Students, Families, and Community Members,
 

As the Athletic Directors of The Bayard School, it is our pleasure to welcome our students, families, staff, and community to another exciting year of middle school athletics and activities. At Bayard, we believe athletics are an important part of the middle school experience and provide students with opportunities to build confidence, develop leadership skills, learn the value of teamwork, and create lasting memories.

As we begin this school year, we have high expectations for all of our student-athletes. Being part of a Bayard team means being a student first and an athlete second. We expect our athletes to work hard in the classroom, come to practices ready to learn and improve, respect their coaches and teammates, and demonstrate good sportsmanship at all times.

We are excited for the year ahead and look forward to celebrating the accomplishments of our student-athletes throughout every season. With the support of our families, coaches, staff, and school community, we are confident that our students will represent Bayard with pride and make this a memorable and successful year.
